The diode lasers of the Bluephoton® / Greenphoton® / Redphoton® A350 Series are temperature-stabilized with high-speed analog modulation of up to 350 MHz @ -3 dB. For all applications which require fast analog modulation, the lasers of the A350 Series represent a genuine alternative to gas lasers with AO modulators. Through the extreme short rise and fall times of the analog modulation of <2 ns (nanoseconds), analog illumination processes, such as for example data storage, in CD and DVD mastering and microlithography, as well as microscopy, are considerably speeded up and are also considerably more precise. Furthermore, the very low jitter and the linear characteristics of the analog modulation make the control of the process parameters more reproducible by a multiple. In addition to the analog RF input with 0 … 1 /50 Ohm, the laser also has a digital modulation input with up to 500 MHz modulation bandwidth, which can be used in combination with the analog input. As a result of their intelligent laser controller with interface RS-232, these lasers can be integrated seamlessly into applications and controlled. Through the standardized “Command Line Interface” (CLI), you have at all times full control of all parameters of the laser, such as for example, laser diode temperature, laser powers and currents, operating modes and lots more.
The systems consist of a laser head and a laser controller in the EMC-screened modular housing and a low-noise power supply unit with an input voltage of 90-240 V, 50/60 Hz. As in case of all lasers of the Bluephoton® and Redphoton® Series, the laser head can be very simply adapted to customer specifications by the use of the modular principle.
